REGISTRATION & OPENING CEREMONY
The excitement begins as all skippers and anglers gather at the Sodwana Ski Boat Club for the official registration of the Billfish 15000 Fishing Competition.
During registration, teams will complete the necessary formalities, register their vessels and collect their official competition goodie bags.
🏆 Evening – Official Opening Ceremony
In the evening, competitors, skippers and fellow fishing enthusiasts come together for the official opening ceremony.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow anglers, reconnect with old friends, enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and build excitement for the fishing days ahead.

Day 02
FIRST DAY OF COMPETITION FISHING
The excitement begins as we head out for our first official day of the Billfish 15000 Fishing Competition!
🌅 Early Morning – Launch & Fishing
We launch from Sodwana Bay Beach, with the beach access gates opening at 05:00 AM.
Once launched, we head offshore in search of magnificent billfish, ready for a thrilling day of competitive fishing.
🎣 Afternoon – Beaching & Catch Verification
Fishing continues until 14:00, after which we return to the beach.
Following beaching, we head to the Sodwana Ski Boat Club within the designated time to have our fishing tackle, rods and lines inspected and submit the required photographic or video evidence of the day's catches for official verification and scoring.
🏆 Evening – Daily Prize Giving
Join fellow competitors at the club for the daily prize-giving ceremony, where the day's successful catches are recognised and achievements celebrated.
Afterwards, it's time to relax, share fishing stories and prepare our equipment for another exciting day on the water!
Day 03
SECOND DAY OF COMPETITION FISHING
Another exciting day awaits as we head back out to sea for the second official fishing day of the Billfish 15000 Competition!
🌅 Early Morning – Launch & Fishing
We launch from Sodwana Bay Beach, with beach access gates opening at 05:00 AM.
Once launched, we head offshore in search of Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish, ready for another action-packed day of competitive fishing.
🎣 Afternoon – Beaching & Catch Verification
Fishing continues until 14:00, after which we return to the beach.
Following beaching, we head to the Sodwana Ski Boat Club within the designated time to have our fishing tackle, rods and lines inspected and submit the required photographic or video evidence of the day's catches for official verification and scoring.
🏆 Evening – Daily Prize Giving
Join fellow competitors at the club for the daily prize-giving ceremony, where the day's catches and achievements are recognised and celebrated.
Afterwards, it's time to unwind, enjoy the atmosphere, share fishing stories and prepare for another exciting day on the ocean.
Day 04
THIRD DAY OF COMPETITION FISHING
The competition heats up as we head into our third official fishing day of the Billfish 15000 Fishing Competition!
🌅 Early Morning – Launch & Fishing
We launch from Sodwana Bay Beach, with beach access gates opening at 05:00 AM.
Once launched, we head offshore in search of Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish. With the competition well underway, every strike counts as we aim to climb the leaderboard!

Fishing continues until 14:00, after which we return to Sodwana Bay Beach.

FOURTH DAY OF COMPETITION FISHING
The excitement continues as we head into our fourth official fishing day of the Billfish 15000 Fishing Competition!

We launch from Sodwana Bay Beach, with beach access gates opening at 05:00 AM.
Once launched, we head offshore in search of Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish. With the competition nearing its final stages, every strike and successful release could make a difference on the leaderboard!

Fishing continues until 14:00, after which we return to Sodwana Bay Beach.

FINAL DAY OF COMPETITION FISHING & GRAND PRIZE GIVING
The grand finale has arrived! It's the last official fishing day of the Billfish 15000 Fishing Competition, and the excitement is at its peak as teams head offshore for one final opportunity to secure their position on the leaderboard!
🌅 Early Morning – Final Launch & Fishing
We launch from Sodwana Bay Beach, with beach access gates opening at 05:00 AM.
Once launched, we head offshore in search of Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish.
With the competition coming to an end, every strike, fight and successful release could determine the overall winners!
🎣 13:00 – Lines Up & Final Beaching
The final fishing day concludes at 13:00, with all boats required to have their lines up or be beached according to the official competition rules.
Following beaching, we head to the Sodwana Ski Boat Club within the designated time for final rod and line inspections and submission of photographic or video evidence of the day's catches for official verification and scoring.
