Our Commitment

At Shoot & Cast, we believe that every Guided / Land-Based Fishing Experience, Vessel-Based Fishing Charter, Hunting Outfitter Experience, Game Farm hunt, Travel Agency Package and other outdoor Experience should be conducted with professionalism, honesty, respect and a commitment to safety. By joining the Shoot & Cast Platform, every Operator agrees to uphold the following principles.

1Professionalism

I will conduct my business professionally and ethically at all times.

I will treat every Customer, employee, contractor and fellow Operator with courtesy, respect and fairness.

2Honesty

I will provide accurate information about my Experiences, pricing, accommodation, equipment, licences, permits, permissions and services.

I will not intentionally mislead Customers or make promises that I cannot reasonably fulfil.

3Customer Experience

I understand that every Customer booked through Shoot & Cast represents an opportunity to build the reputation of both my business and the Shoot & Cast Platform.

I will use my best efforts to provide every Customer with an enjoyable, professional and memorable Experience.

4Communication

I will communicate promptly and respectfully with Customers and Shoot & Cast.

If a problem arises, I will inform Shoot & Cast as soon as reasonably practicable and work cooperatively to find a fair solution.

5Safety

I will place the safety of Customers, employees and participants at the centre of every Experience.

I will operate lawfully, maintain appropriate safety standards and ensure that required equipment is available and properly maintained.

6Legal Compliance

I will comply with all laws, permits, licences, registrations, certificates, permissions, concessions and regulations applicable to my Operator category, business and every Experience I provide.

Where I conduct Guided / Land-Based Fishing, I will maintain all applicable fishing, access, venue, landowner, protected-area and guiding authorisations. Where I conduct Vessel-Based Fishing Charters, I will additionally maintain all applicable vessel, skipper, maritime and safety documentation.

Where I operate as a Hunting Outfitter, I will maintain all applicable Outfitter, Professional Hunter and hunting authorisations. Where I operate as a Game Farm, I will maintain the lawful property authority, enclosure or exemption documentation, game farm or provincial hunting authorisations and any additional species-specific permits required for the hunt.

Where I operate as a Travel Agency, I will only market lodges and suppliers that I am authorised to represent. I will take sole responsibility for verifying and maintaining the legal compliance of every lodge and third-party supplier used to fulfil my Packages, including fishing licences and permits, vessel and skipper compliance, charter approvals, Hunting Outfitter and Professional Hunter licences, property permissions, hunting permits, conservation approvals, insurance and other requirements applicable to the relevant activity and jurisdiction.

I understand that Shoot & Cast provides the marketplace and booking platform only and does not assume my responsibility for the trip, the suppliers I select, supplier performance, legal compliance, safety or fulfilment of my Packages.

I understand that legal compliance remains my responsibility at all times.

7Client Fishing Licences

Where I provide or arrange a fishing Experience, I will ensure before fishing begins that every participating Customer holds all fishing licences, permits or authorisations required for the relevant activity, location and species.

8Ethical Hunting and Fishing

Where applicable, I will promote responsible hunting and fishing practices.

I will support conservation, respect wildlife and natural habitats, and conduct my activities in accordance with applicable laws and recognised ethical standards.

9Respect for Customers

I will treat every Customer fairly, regardless of nationality, race, religion, gender, age or background.

I will not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation or abusive behaviour.

10Respect for the Shoot & Cast Brand

I recognise that my conduct reflects on the reputation of Shoot & Cast.

I will conduct myself in a manner that strengthens the reputation of the Platform and the outdoor industry.

I will not knowingly engage in conduct that damages the Shoot & Cast brand.

11Fair Business Practices

I will deal honestly with Shoot & Cast.

I will respect the commercial relationship created by the Platform and will not intentionally attempt to circumvent the Platform or undermine its legitimate business interests.

12Environmental Responsibility

Where applicable, I will operate responsibly and use reasonable efforts to minimise unnecessary environmental impact.

I will encourage responsible use of natural resources and support sustainable outdoor tourism.

13Continuous Improvement

I recognise that excellence is achieved through continual learning and improvement.

I will consider constructive feedback from Customers and Shoot & Cast and will strive to improve my services wherever reasonably possible.

14Commitment

By signing this Code of Conduct, I acknowledge that I have read and understood these principles.

I commit myself and my business to upholding these standards while participating on the Shoot & Cast Platform.

I understand that this Code of Conduct complements the Operator Agreement and reflects the professional values expected of every approved Shoot & Cast Operator.
